Do you think that the FIA made the right decision with regards to the Max Mosley sex scandal?

On the 3rd of June Max Mosley overcame his detractors by winning his no confidence vote
and remaining as FIA president. For anybody who doesn't know, the FIA is the governing body that sanctions almost all motorsports world wide.

Good old Max was recently caught on tape engaging in a an S&M sex orgy with 5 prostitutes. It has been claimed that the said orgy had NAZI connotations to it. I myself have seen the video and I guess it was a dominatrix style romp but I'm not sure it was NAZIfied. Perhaps I didn't see the whole video. But whether or not it was a Nazi themed orgy does Max deserve to remain in such an important and high profile position? I myself don't really give a shit what the guy does in his personal life no matter how socially unacceptable the majority of people think it is (so long as everybody involved was consensual) but we must take into account that Max Mosley holds the top job in motorsports and represents many people, companies, and sponsors involved with motorsports especially that of Formula 1. Formula 1 is considered to be the pinnacle of motorsports and is 2nd only to football as the most popular and cash involved sport in the world. If the majority of his peers don't want him to stay on it's madness if he does. Like I said before, I won't judge him for how he wants to get his rocks off but if you want to be in such a position of influence and power you have to accept that the vices and nuances of us mere mortals are totally not acceptable for people of that stature. It sucks and it's not fair I know but that's life.

So should Max Mosley be allowed to stay on as FIA president? Well according to the FIA he will but if a majority of interested parties who are expected to submit to the FIA decisions regarding motorsports don't have confidence in a man with his vices leading them should he not just bow out with whatever grace he has left?
